Xiaomi finalizes the launch of its new update: HyperOS 2 was recently announced in China, and from there the roadmap for Xiaomi and Redmi mobile updates has been released. All that remains is to wait for HyperOS 2 which will arrive on our smartphones with the Global version.
And from there, Xiaomi Time brings good news: this filtered list presents a preview of the first Xiaomi terminals and their sisters Redmi and POCO which will take the plunge in the coming months with HyperOS2. There is less time left to taste the new version of Xiaomi’s software, which, as we have seen in its home country, presents many new features, some more new than others.

The specialized media apparently has the global calendar of HyperOS 2, and with it all the models of the three brands that will receive the update. The international journey of its renewed software will begin in the last quarter of this yearand will continue to expand during the first months of 2025.
These are the first to receive it, as they say, before the end of the year:
These are two recent flagships, and due to this condition, they will be the ones to launch HyperOS 2 Global: they already have the update almost ready, and it will come with Android 15.
Later, when we enter the first quarter of 2025, it will land on a few more, now of different ranges:
Beyond these two sets of updates, we know some of the features of this HyperOS 2 Global. You were surely very different from the version present in China, which, as we saw yesterday during the opening speechit looks like a fairly deep renovation.
However, the changes that Xiaomi is applying to its international firmware will mean that some of them will be left behind. In the meantime, these are supposed to be available:
- Improved Control Center: The control center has been renewed allowing faster access to its configuration and customization.
- Advanced AI Camera Features: Xiaomi has spent a lot of time showing how AI optimizes photo and video capture in its latest terminals. You’ll have to wait to try them.
- Battery and resource optimization: The enterprise benefits from a smoother user experience thanks to better battery life and advanced resource management. HyperCore, a low-level overhaul of several system components, is to blame.
Xiaomi’s HyperConnect is the meeting point for devices in its ecosystem. The surprise is that with HyperOS 2 it works with Apple devices like the iPhone
At the moment, we do not know if everyone will finally make the jump to Android 15, or on the contrary, they will stay with Android 14. The Chinese firm usually has keep some versions of the Google OS under its own software, can be repeated on this occasion.
