Pokémon Trading Card Game Bag has a monthly subscription called Premium Pass. The shiny golden ticket may tempt you on the home screen, but should you buy it? Is it worth buying?
Below we explain how the mathematics works Pokémon Trading Card Game Bag It’s worth purchasing the Premium Pass and explain when might be the best time to activate your two-week Premium Pass free trial.
Is it worth buying the Premium Pass in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket?
Yes, the pass is worth it if you want packs and plan to invest money in the game while playing every day. Here’s our math to explain:
The pass costs $9.99 per month and is valid for 30 days.
For $9.99 you will receive 57 Poké Gold at the usual price or 72 Poké Gold as part of the Release Celebration sale. One Poké Gold reduces the pack timer by two hours (so six Poké Gold grants you a full pack cycle, reducing the timer by 12 hours). This means that for $9.99 you get nine or twelve packs, depending on which gold package you purchase.
With the Premium Pass you benefit from the following advantages:
- Monthly Premium Missions this reward 11 hourglasses in the package, eight miracle hourglasses and 29 premium ticketsif you complete all required missions
- One additional pack every 24 hours (as indicated by a Delibird timer displayed on your home screen)
- Access to the Premium shopwhere you can purchase special promo cards and deck accessories in exchange for premium tickets
That being said, the pass can at least earn you money 30 packs for $9.99as long as you log in every day to get the extra package, That’s way more worth it than just paying $9.99 for gold.
The premium missions are also fairly easy to complete by simply playing the game – it’s full of tasks that involve simply opening packages or finding specific types of cards. So if you are just opening your daily packs, you will probably complete these missions and get all the rewards and therefore additional cosmetics.
When should I redeem the Premium Pass free trial?
There are a few things to keep in mind if you want to remain free-to-play and strategically use your free two-week Premium Pass trial: the mission reset time and the collectibles in the Premium Shop. Unfortunately, since the game has just been released, we don’t have any concrete experience with how these mission timers and shop rotations work, so we’ll be working with the in-game timers we see right now.
Assuming that the missions were not reset on November 1st since the game launched on October 30th (and therefore you would only have about two days to complete them), and assuming that they were reset on December 1st become, The best time to redeem the free trial would be any time in the week before December 1st
The next thing to consider is what’s included in the Premium Pass Shop. As of this writing, there is a Pikachu promo card and Mewtwo accessories. There is no timer on the Pikachu card, but the Mewtwo accessories have a timer set to January 1, 2025. Then it is assumed that these accessories will be rotated out and replaced with a different cosmetic theme. If you hate Mewtwo, you may want to keep your Premium Pass free trial until this changes.
That being said, this is again based on some assumptions. Feel free to stick with your free trial if you hate Mewtwo or want to try to make the most of it at the end of November, but we can’t promise that the pass will work that way either. (However, we will update this guide later once we can confirm more information.)
