A new free game to keep for life. Hurry up!

free, game, Hurry, Life

Another good plan for PC gamers. A new free game can currently be collected on the GOG platform, but you must collect it within the time limit.

Free games are coming for PC gamers. The Epic Games Store continues its weekly giveaway distribution today. Prime Gaming also offers its subscribers its share of more or less current productions every week. Steam is a bit of a special case. The store regularly offers to test games over a long weekend, whereby certain publishers can offer their titles in full and then keep them. Then there’s GOG, which also offers its free game during each of its big sales periods or special events.

A new free game for GOG

Halloween sales are on. The platform from the makers of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 is currently selling games by the hundreds, with discounts of up to -90%. However, what will attract customers is the new free game available to collect. Until Sunday, November 3, 2024, it is actually possible to get hold of a title on GOG that is hardly known to the general public. There is no need to drag out the tension unnecessarily, this is “Return of the Phantom”. A title that will perhaps appeal to the oldest among us, as this atmospheric adventure was released on PC in 1993. Yes, this is from that time!

The Phantom of the Opera is back to play pranks in this mysterious point ‘n click game. You play as Inspector Raoul Montand, the only one who can stop the legendary Red Death by traveling back in time to stop him from terrorizing the present. The proposed version includes slightly smoother animation, a full English dub and a screenplay by Raymond Benson, known for his work on James Bond. Fancy a little old-fashioned free game? Nothing could be easier. Just go to the special GOG page To reach Return of the Phantom, click the “View Gift” button and then click “Yes, collect the game.” You will of course need an account on the platform if you haven’t already… and that’s it.
