Frankly, there can never be enough heists in GTA Online. Like, it never will. Those who now own half of Los Santos, they always need more stuff to attack, and while the game’s December update will help with that, Rockstar has some good news for PC players as well.
To be fair, the past few months have been fantastic for those who enjoy playing massive online crime games on a decent computer, and the addition of anti-cheat features in September has helped give them some breathing space in the lobby with Invincible modders together. “The infamous Darnell Brothers Garment Factory Front is under new management,” Rockstar wrote in its latest community update about the December update, “with helmsman Pavel and a former FIB officer tr ansitioning to independence With the help of contractors, you’ll turn it into a hive for covert infiltration operations as you launch a series of thrilling, strategic new heists.”
Yes, this is the same clothing factory where Michael, Lester and co orchestrated the jewelry store heist and FIB building raid in the base game’s main story, and later set the factory on fire. So, uh, you might have to spend some money to do some renovations, depending on how Rockstar handles the schedule this time around. One thing we do know is that the update will bring a bunch of other stuff, but that includes new cars, dispatch job tasks, and the Terrorbyte’s collectible scanner upgrade.

At the end of the post, Rockstar also teased another update for 2025, writing that it “plans to bring GTA Online’s popular PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S features to PC in the new year.” The differences between playing GTA Online on next-gen and last-gen consoles are mainly graphics, performance, and audio improvements, although there are also some additional vehicle mods available through Hao’s special title store.
So it’s good for PC gamers to finally be able to keep up with these consoles, as it’s always frustrating to indulge in last-gen versions of games on ultra-expensive machines with Pentagon-spec ray tracing and enough color The lights illuminated the entire village.
