Kinetic Games announces that Phasmophobia has surpassed 20 million copies sold worldwide.
Kinetic Games reports that Phasmophobia has surpassed 20 million copies sold worldwide just in time for Halloween.
Originally the brainchild of solo developer Daniel Knight, Phasmophobia entered Early Access on Steam in September 2020 and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. Just two days ago, on October 29, 2024, Kinetic Games brought Phasmophobia into early access on consoles and has already sold 250,000 copies there during this time.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Phasmophobia has reached this incredible milestone of over 20 million copies sold,” said Daniel Knight, Managing Director and Lead Developer.
“The journey has been nothing short of amazing and we owe it to our dedicated community who continue to share their passion for the game. We look forward to continuing to expand the Phasmophobia experience and are excited to see what the future holds.”
Phasmophobia is available on PC via Steam and in Early Access on PS5, PS VR2 and Xbox Series X|S.
