Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Electronic Arts and BioWare announce that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is now available for PlayStation 5 (also expanded for PS5 Pro), Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam (verified for Steam Deck), EA App and the Epic Games Store is.
The new adventure offers everything the series is known for: a gripping story, imaginative worlds, companions, communities and a world in which players play the main role.

In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Solas, the dire wolf, seeks to tear apart the veil that separates Thedas from the world of demons to restore the immortality and glory of his people – no matter how many lives it costs. However, his ritual fails and his greatest fears become reality when two of his oldest and most powerful adversaries are freed. Players take on the role of Rook and must unite with their companions to stop these two powerful deities on a journey that takes them throughout Thedas – vibrant cities, tropical regions, jungles, damp swamps and the deepest depths.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard supports the ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, PC frame rates with no upper limit and various ray tracing features. Additionally, performance can be accelerated with DLSS 3, gameplay can be made even more responsive with Reflex, and image quality and immersion can be improved with ray tracing reflections and ambient occlusion.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will also be released NVIDIA GeForce NOW be playable in “ultimate” quality and be expanded specifically for PlayStation 5 Pro. It will also be the first EA title to offer HDR10+ GAMING functionality, which automatically delivers outstanding, highly dynamic performance on HDR10+ GAMING certified displays such as Amazon, Roku, Hisense and Samsung TVs and gaming monitors.
The title builds on the well-known pillars of the legendary series: an adventure full of heroism, with a great story, fluid and strategic combat, a community of companions and decisions that truly matter. The key elements of the experience are:
- Community: Dragon Age: The Veilguard introduces new companions with some of the most compelling individual stories in the annals of Dragon Age. The rich and dynamic stories cover love, loss and complex decisions that affect the relationships and fates of all members of the Veil Watch. New companions such as the veil jumper Bellara, the necromancer Emmrich and the private detective Neve belong to iconic factions of the Dragon Age universe and have individual skill trees and special equipment. But familiar faces are also there again, like archer Borte Harding, who returns to the series as a full companion.
- Decisions and consequences: Dragon Age: The Veilguard builds on the series’ diverse role-playing roots and offers extraordinary stories in a very special world, complex personalities among all companions, meaningful decisions and impressive, cinematic moments. The bonds and relationships players form are influenced by the decisions made throughout your journey.
- A handmade experience: As a character-driven role-playing game, Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers a gaming experience that also pays homage to BioWare’s history as a storyteller. The Lighthouse is a central refuge where players can rest and learn more about the world through conversation, while from the Crossroads they can travel with their companions to various explorable regions of the world. Two-time Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer and GRAMMY Award winner Lorne Balfe have composed the official soundtrack (OST) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which will be officially released by Lakeshore Records on November 1st. The album’s first single, Dragon Age: The Veilguard Main Theme, is available now on all major music services including Spotify, iTunes and Deezer downloaded and streamed.
