The first thing you sacrifice is many hours of sleep
Running one of the most valuable companies in the world isn’t easy. And that Tim Cook recognizes that It’s a lot of fun work and one he loves.. But with so many projects, teams and responsibilities… “The first thing I sacrificed was sleep,” admits Tim Cook. This sacrifice becomes even more evident when he talks about his daily life.
The day for Tim Cook starts at 3:45 a.m.. It’s not even part of the recognized “five o’clock club.” For many of us, our wake-up time is almost the start of our night. And although one of its flagship products, the Apple Watch, is responsible for analyzing sleep and recommending more sleep… you probably have more than one alert for poor sleep.
Tim Cook loves (and needs) coffee
Coffee plays a crucial role in Tim Cook’s life. But how many cups do you drink per day? He doesn’t even want to think about the answer: “And the coffee, lots of cups, don’t make me admit how many”he said in the interview with a laugh. Despite his busy schedule, he tries to maintain a balance by share meals with employees in the dining room and finding moments to enjoy the outdoors at the end of the day. He is a great lover of natural parks and, during the few holidays he has, he loves to go to one of them.
