The Persona series remains one of Atlus’ most successful franchises, and the numbers don’t lie. According to Sega’s 2024 Integrated Annual Report, sales of the series reached 23.5 million worldwidesurpassing the previous milestone of 22.6 million sold as of March 5, 2024.
This growth was due in part to the release of Persona 3 Reload the previous month, which sold a million copies in its first week. Although Atlus has not revealed any updates on the remastering or impact of its recent story DLC, Episode Aigis – The Answer, it is clear that The strategy of simultaneous global releases on multiple platforms has worked well for the franchise.

According to Sega, remasters, spin-offs and simultaneous global releases on multiple platforms contributed to the growth in sales of Persona and Like a Dragon. This suggests that Atlus may continue this strategy in the future, which could include a cross-platform version of Persona 6, which should be released next year.
