The legendary Moto G family continues to live with members like the Motorola Moto G8, Moto G8 Plus and the protagonist of our review, Moto G8 Power. His last name was given by large battery (at least mathematically) that blends, is its main point of differentiation compared to its two brothers. At the intermediate level that is becoming more and more elaborate at the level of precision points, split points are needed to gain ground and bet on larger points as independence can be a good move.
It is therefore necessary to update this Moto G8 Power if you want it its three independent days promised by the brand

Nice design, really sharp panel, and amazing sound
The design of the Motorola Moto G8 Power, for better or worse, is something different from what we've seen in many recent releases. We are here before aluminum body for the traditional finishing touches. At the size level, the terminal guarantees because it is "empty" at a height of 15.5 centimeters again, though it is shorter and heavier (something exempt from battery capacity) it is very comfortable to hold and it is not too tight.
The panel is good in terms of brightness, sharpness and contrast. The hole in the screen is quite small, so we forgot about it for a few hours of using the phone
The front of the device housing a 6.4-inch panel with IPS technology and full HD + resolution. This screen has a small hole that forms the front camera. The panel level is good, highlighting the good workouts that Motorola has done, and the sharpness that this screen has. The brightness is enough outside, not to mention being the lightest panel on its list.
According to GSMarena it occupies 83% of the former, being one of the weakest points of the terminal in terms of construction. The frames can be used extensively, from the open bottom beard to the other bezels around the wire.
As for the sound, we were surprised. In short, is one of the best audios in its category. Although relatively economical, the Moto G8 Power has two stereo speakers, in our test, 90 decibels exceeded.
The Moto G8 Power sound reminds us of high-end proposals. In the same way, the sound has been optimized with a larger jack, which sounds higher than normal and has good quality.
Aside from being a surprisingly high volume, the quality deserves a very high quality mobile phone. It helps that the traditional phone comes with a Dolby listening system automatically converts audio to the content we are listening to. If we add to this suggestion that we have a headphone jack and that if we connect them, the sound is not good again, we can give him a license plate at this stage.
Poor performance than expected and outstanding independence
The Moto G8 has the Snapdragon 665, one of the humble submissions in the center of Qualcomm in mid-2019. Beyond that, it is a proven and rich processor. However, despite having a good processor and light operating system, the basic processes stick to this mobile. Open times are high for simple tasks like opening settings, WhatsApp, Chrome, etc. The lag is easily recognizable, there are slow motion pictures and a lack of rhythm.
The performance of the Moto G8 Power is good every day, but it can be improved. Expected increasing speed when deploying applications and applications
When we talk about sports, performance is okay. There is no shortage of power and 4 GB of RAM, although they can play a trick on us if we have many apps in the background, they are enough for everyday use. We didn't notice any heat. In short, The power of the Moto G8 is capable of moving everything, but it can do so quickly. In fact, when we look at the benches, we see that it is at the bottom of the cell phones with the same processor and RAM.

At the biometric level we have i a student who got his fingers on the back. Its performance is good, even though it can have only one speed point given the point at which capacitive readers are available. As for facial recognition, at least in the genre we were able to explore, no trace, something was missing.
As for software, good news. Android 10 is almost stock with a few Motorola wishes that add value. Google Images gallery of default, Files app files, Call cloud content program, etc. The Moto just adds its own & # 39; Moto & # 39 ;, system, where we can configure touch, game mode or & # 39; Screen mode & # 39; and Moto Audio, its program in partnership with Dolby to repair the sound.
The only point we miss here higher value in terms of security security, because in this case we have a December 2019 settlement at the time of doing our analysis.
The G8 Power Independence is one of the best we have explored. Three days of use is fully functional
Motorah promises three days to use its G8 Power. Is this possible? Yes, even more if we use it less. In our case we were able to touch 10 screen screens in two days of use, an image that translates over 12 hours of screen in one day and eight hours of screen in three days. Outstanding independence, compatible with 15W charger.
Four cameras can offer more
Motorola has chosen the configuration of four cameras for your Moto G8 Power– An advanced 16-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle, 8-megapixel telephoto lens and 2-megapixel macro sensor. Although the configuration promises to work in various ways, let's first talk about the camera system that enables us to take pictures.
Motorola's camera app is perfect, albeit confusing and slow. For example from picture mode to video mode and vice versa it takes three seconds, too long to do such simple tasks. On the other hand, we have many functions such as auto-activated HDR, image display mode, macro, color selection, virtual reality stickers, etc. The methods are fine, but the more comfortable information in the example will be appreciated (they are all grouped together in the same tab rather than over the top of the display).
Daytime photos
In good light conditions, the Moto G8's power protects itself, even though it doesn't make it out of the price range. The colors are muted, the HDR can be enhanced and the sharpness is made into multiple shots. A telephoto lens throws some artifacts, though it may lose a lot of clarity about the primary sensor. There is some consistency between the sensors even though, surprisingly, the phone's lens is very bright and has very high exposure (all due to software).
Night photos
When night came problems are coming. The power of the Moto G8, as we have already told you, is a slow working cell phone. This lack of speed is exaggerated when taking pictures. By day we can manage to take a shot, but at night the shutter takes longer to take photos and autofocus has serious problems. So much so, that standing up and pointing to a static object would take 3-4 seconds to focus, if not. And we don't have night mode to try to improve results.
Image mode
Regarding image mode, it's done a good job identifying the main topic, though the work done on the edges when some repairs are done. Some objects are locked to a depth map somehow, which makes the image look as pretty as it should. Note, too, that the lens lens is not much brighter than the main sensor, so that the images come out somehow darker.
Macro mode
The latest sensor on the Motorola Moto G8 Power is a two-megapixel macro. This gives results to prove that lack of detail and differences make it unpleasant to use. Of course we can get very close to things but the lack of quality of this sensor is noticeable compared to the other three cameras.
Selfie
The Motorola Moto G8 Power selfie is enough but, with psychic and other senses, work is possible. HDR works well for normal photos, but when we do graphic mode, it stops working. At the color level there are also inconsistencies as facial processing is the color of art.
Motorola Moto G8 Power, a concept for Xataka Android
The power of the Moto G8 is a terminal that fell in love with its battery and hearing aids, but that raises serious doubts when we talk about it working with the camera, points of error on any device, regardless of the price. For 249 euros you cannot claim the best performance or category of images, but clearly below are his direct competitors in the two main points.
Pure software and more than 250 respected euros software are appreciated, though there are some key points to improve with Motorola
It is up to the user to decide if he is willing to sacrifice those two points to get them clean software and good multimedia experience. In any event, it is appreciated that Motorola continues to offer suggestions with such points separated by lower prices.
