Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service is getting a generative AI feature, X-Ray Recaps, which can be used to help you remember episodes or entire seasons of TV shows you’ve watched in the past, but you may not remember much about it.
X-Ray Recaps should even be able to recap short sections of an episode that you may have missed because you left the room for a while during a TV show. The technology is based on Amazon Bedrock and managed through AWS. Amazon also promises that the feature will be spoiler-free.
Prime Video’s X-Ray Recaps will initially be available for the Amazon original series in the United States. At the moment it is unclear when the AI feature will appear in the UK.
