Warning: Spoilers ahead for season 1 of Agatha Always.
If I had to name one big TV surprise premiering in the second half of 2024, I would definitely choose Agatha Always. Sure, I’ve loved Marvel Studios’ Disney+ shows in the past, but we’ve been frustrated with this whole thing for a while, and after WandaVision wowed most viewers, this particular series feels like it came too late in 2021 The beginning of the year.

“What I loved about Episode 9 is that we kept chasing her truth… This character was introduced as a living lie. This show is a lie in many ways: it’s very dramatic, and a lot of it is performance Sexual. And about wearing masks and costumes,” Shaffer said of the ending, which is odd because it serves as a coda to both Billy Maximoff and Agatha Harkness. “It’s not about killing off the character…it’s about the evolution of the character,” the showrunner teased, all but confirming afterwards whether the character will be in a surprising second season or elsewhere, as well There’s more to come, especially now that she’s joined by Billy (aka Wiccan) to find his missing twin, Tommy. “I still feel like Agatha has more to explore as Ghost… so get ready.” Hopefully, she’ll be able to guide the Midnight Sons whenever they get together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
