We already knew it Dragon Age: The Veil Guardian‘S The first patch was supposed to come out this week, but since it came out on N7 day, it also brought a few surprises. The fantasy role-playing game is one of BioWare’s more polished games, but still, according to the just-released patch notes, there are plenty of bugs that the team needs to fix.

The team said they didn’t want to steal The Veil GuardianIt’s a thunderstorm, so information about the upcoming fifth game in the science fiction series is still very quiet. But now your Rook can wear armor that pays homage to Commander Shepard’s red and black fit. Additionally, there are a number of bug fixes, particularly the one that caused the Inquisitor Dragon Age: Inquisition
Content of the N7 day:
- Rook can find a new gig in the lighthouse on N7 Day. This is purely cosmetic armor.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where DLSS options might be “grayed out” on an Nvidia 40-series GPU. (PC only)
- The cause of a small number of crashes has been resolved. (PC only)
- Updated XeSS version to 1.3.1. (PC only)
- Fixed an issue where some adjustments were not applied correctly to the Inquisitor in one of the final scenes.
- Fixed a bug that caused Companion Skill Points to reset.
- Adjusted companion approval notifications so they stay on screen longer at the end of scenes.
- Harding now has arrows in his quiver and is ready for battle.
- The global joke should no longer start too soon.
- The banter between Harding and Taash is no longer repeated indefinitely.
- Fixed potential issues that could occur if a player fast traveled during a quest.
- Switching your party members on the way to certain quests no longer causes the camera to break during in-world missions.
- A number of assets have been updated to improve visual performance over long distances.
- Fixed several removal “pop-ins” on level art assets.
- Added collision to several assets that were missing it.
- Fixed a minor texture issue with Codex graphics.
- Haptics have been added to a number of interactions and events.
- Fixed lip sync in some environmental scenes.
- Adjusted the audio balance of several assets.
- Changing gear no longer disables the helmet’s speech processing.
- Fixed several objective markers not spawning properly.
- Fixed certain interactions between skills that caused them to not behave as described.
- Apparitions spawned by Iron Veil now attack Razicals.
- Entropic spheres now behave correctly on vertical surfaces.
- Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause Taunt to delete early, causing enemies to ignore it.
- Fixed a rare issue where Rogues would not hold their bow while aiming down the sights.
- Made the detailed stats screen easier to read.
- Balance changes have been made to certain battles to reflect design intent.
- Balance adjustments made to several player abilities.
- Fixed leasing exploits in larger encounters.
- The Rage Demon’s Ring of Fire should now be reasonably dodgeable in all situations.
- I slowed down the fast raven in Hossberg.
- Adjusted the movement of spooky corpses while moving in front of or off camera.
- The Dalish elf in the Unwanted Guests quest is now a real elf.
- Fixed a rare blocking issue in the Sea of Blood quest.
- Halla should no longer float during the quest “In the Grip of Entropy.”
- Fixed a blocking issue in the Peak of His Kind quest.
- Adjusted the timing on epilogue text cards.
- NPC necks no longer grow unexpectedly.
- Fixed cases where NPCs would not properly look at each other or Rook.
- Long hair should now properly blend with certain armor.
- Fixed several issues with makeup during character creation.
- The Venatori Crystal visual effects should now disappear properly.
- Added scroll wheel support to the sales screen.
- Opening the journal on the map no longer causes scrolling.
- Faction achievements are now properly earned upon reaching maximum faction strength instead of the faction cap.
