It might not feel like it, but we’re closer to the start of Black Ops 6 Season 1 than we are to the game’s release. As we expect with every new season, this one is packed with new content for all players.

Season 1 marks the first time content and mechanics from Black Ops 6 have also been integrated into Warzone. It starts on Thursday, November 14th.

Multiplayer

Season 1 kicks off with multiplayer, which looks to add some exciting content and not just more content. us yes Of course, we’ll get new content in the form of three new maps at the start of the season.

Hideout is a 6v6 medium-sized map set on a training ground. Along with it is Extraction, another medium-sized map set on a heliport and set against the backdrop of Avalon. We also got an attack map called Heirloom, suitable for 2v2 and 6v6. At mid-season, a new Strike map called Racket will be added, along with a remastered version of Hacienda from past Black Ops games.

Season 1 will also introduce a new Search mode at launch, with the return of Prop Hunt mode as the first Party mode in the mid-season update. Treyarch also added a new Perk at launch (Shadow, Slot 2, Strategist) and a new Scorestreak (Hand Cannon, 900 points), as well as an additional Perk (Shrapnel Radar, Slot 3, Scout) and wildcards (high rollers) were added mid-season.

The battle pass also includes two new weapons: the Krig C assault rifle and the Saug SMG. Elsewhere this season, you can look forward to the Maelstrom Shotgun, AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle, and AMR Mod 4 Auxiliary Rifle as event rewards

Those who enjoy competitive Call of Duty will be happy to know that ranked play will launch early this year and go live shortly after the new season launches.

war zone

In addition to integrating Black Ops 6’s Omnimovement throughout Warzone and allowing players to use BO6 weapons in the battle royale mode, Season 1 also brings a brand new renaissance map: Area 99.

For Standard BR, Urzikstan will also be available at launch, with Rebirth Island joining the map roster shortly. When it comes to playlists, you can count on Resurgence, Standard BR, and Plunder. BR rankings will arrive later in the season, along with some limited-time modes.

zombie

The first season of Zombies is exciting for many reasons. First up, the promised Directed Mode will debut at the start of the season, offering a more guided way to complete major narrative Easter eggs on Liberty Fals and Terminus.

However, if you decide to wait until then, you’ll miss out on some of the unique rewards of completing the Easter Egg the hard way. Our Liberty Falls Easter Egg Guide and Terminus Easter Egg Guide will help you do just that before your rewards are gone forever.

With the mid-season update, a brand new map will be added to the roster called Citadelle des Morts. However, that’s not all, as Zombies players will also have access to some new gear such as additional Perk-A-Cola, new field upgrades, new ammo mods, 18 new enhancements, three new GobbleGums, new Wonder weapons, and new enemy types in Citadelle des Morts.

Given that the mid-season update is coming in early December, you can also look forward to a limited-time mode and a holiday-themed Nuketown. Until then, you can look forward to the launch of Season 1: 9am PT, 12pm ET, 5pm UK.
