We recently talked about a leak that said that the origins mode of Fortnitein which we were able to play for a limited time on the first original ‘OG’ map that the game had, would return permanently. Now we can confirm not only that it is true, but what the date will be when it will be back.
The official Fortnite account in Spanish on Twitter published a message making this news official. You can see the tweet below.
This message also reveals when this “return to origins” will be.
What is the date when the OG map returns permanently to Fortnite?
According to the publication, this mode will be available from Friday, December 6, 2024. Although they do not clarify it immediately, we also already know that we will be able to play the new map in both pitched battle and zero construction modes.
We are currently enjoying the return of the Chapter 2 map in the Fortnite Remix season. We’re curious if Epic Games will also be considering bringing this map back permanently in the future. If so, will you do the same with maps from all past seasons?
