Google Play Games has evolved significantly in recent years, from being the solution to adapting our stored games into a haven for gaming enthusiasts.
In the last update, Google Play games have introduced new functionality that makes the platform more public. In the last hours, a list of new friends has just been released, making it easy for us to share our progress while providing us with better privacy management tools.
Google Play Games has a new menu for friends
The Google Play Games app continues to develop in the social sphere. The platform wants to give us more power when it comes to networking with friends, and to create a new list of friends where we can connect with all those we want to play with.
The first purpose of this list of friends is to be able to find out what our friends are playing and compete for access, among other activities.
From the moment we enter the new category, we'll have to answer two privacy questions, explain who can see our activities (nobody, friends or everyone) and how we want games to be able to access our friends list.
Option 2 it is particularly interesting, because it opens the door for us, if we give permission, to invite our friends to play a game we're working on, a task that will soon be available in many topics.
Inviting our friends is as easy as seeing suggestions or searching by name. We can also create a link and copy it to send it via WhatsApp, Telegram, email, dove or whatever you like.
Google started shipping from its servers a few hours ago and should be available to all users. If an activity is not visible to you, it may be recommended to update your app on the Play Store or download it from websites such as APKMirror.
