The survival sandbox Astroneer went into early access in 2016, in which you explore foreign worlds and build your bases. The game has long been adored by a loyal community; on Steam it is rated “very positive” with 92 percent favorable comments from over 100,000 satisfied players. The number of players also remained constant at over 2,000 active users – and has been for eight years now. It’s all the more surprising that there hasn’t been a really extensive expansion for it yet, just smaller DLCs. That changed with Glitchwalkers on November 13th. The expansion introduces a new planet controlled by a renegade Astroneer. There are also supposed to be glitch storms here, which hopefully isn’t a nice word for a buggy game. If that’s not enough, you’ll get some more new content such as new tech trees and modules. Glitchwalkesr costs 10 dollars.
