A lone alchemist steps into this now forbidden and dangerous land. Her name is Yumia Liessfeldt. Three years ago, after losing her mother in an accident, Yumia discovered that she was from a family of alchemists and began to question many things.
Why was Aladiss destroyed? Why did alchemy become “taboo”? …Is alchemy really “evil”?
Believing that all truths lie within the continent, Yumia embarks on a journey to uncover a lost history.
Atelier Yumia is the story of Yumia and her companions who face their memories and, despite the uncertainties, walk the path they believe in.
Key features
- Collect, fight, create: Traveling with your companions will be filled with various “experiences”. Feel free to cross the vast open field in all directions. This unknown land spans the length and breadth of the continent, and the player can forge their own path using a wide range of actions and items.
- Fight: Amazing variety of actions with “range” and “items” In real-time combat, you will be tested on your ability to make split-second decisions. Use two types of ranged attacks (“range”) and switch skills for strategic combat. In addition, synthesized items can be transformed into forms such as swords or spears, which can be used to attack. Since these items can be reused, don’t hesitate to place them and chase away the enemies that stand in your way.
- Synthesis: Manipulate the “mana” found in materials to create new items based on recipes. The items you craft will have powerful effects in various situations, such as exploration and combat. The strength of an item’s power depends on the materials used in the synthesis, so choose your materials carefully when evaluating the strength of the built-in mana.
- “Simple Synthesis” can be done in the field, opening up avenues by crafting research tools and crafting items to aid in battles and synthesis. In addition, in “Construction” you can build a base and customize it by creating and arranging furniture to your liking.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will launch for Nintendo Switch on March 21, 2025.
