In the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 lobby, you’ll see lots of people proudly wearing a yellow crown next to their nickname. But what could it be? How can you purchase and display it? In this BO6 article we answer this question that is on many people’s lips.
The Yellow Crown, available alongside the nicknames of your team’s (or enemy team’s) operators in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, is not available for free. To view it on your profile, you must own the premium version of the Battle Pass, namely the Black Cell Edition.
In fact, This crown is a distinctive symbol that informs other players that the person in question owns the premium version of the BO6 Battle Pass. To put it simply: It’s just a show offnothing more. The Black Cell Battle Pass does not provide any gameplay advantage and only helps to obtain additional cosmetic items, including Molten Operators or animated weapon blueprints with explosion effects, especially for the GOBLIN MK2 Assault Rifle.
If you’ve decided to invest in the Black Cell version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, then you’re entitled to show off that little yellow crown next to your nickname. Unfortunately, The latter is not equipped immediately after purchasing the Premium Battle Pass. You have to do this manually to show players in the lobby that you are the lucky owner of the premium version of the Battle Pass.
To activate the little yellow crown, it’s easy: just follow the path below.
- Go to BARRACKS in the main multiplayer or zombie menu,
- In this menu go to PERSONALIZE,
- Then go to PROFILE,
- Go to CLAN BRAND in your player profile,
- Finally, when choosing your clan’s mark, you decide to equip the Black Cell clan mark.
- And there you have it, you’re now wearing the yellow crown next to your nickname!
Namely, that this crown removes the potential clan mark that you already have (or not). The two markers cannot be combined, so you have to make a choice: your friends’ clan marker or claiming the Black Cell Battle Pass… It all depends on you!
