Today, The Pokémon Company International revealed the Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Battle event for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Trainers will have the opportunity to encounter and capture Shiny Rayquaza with Dragon as a Tera type in 5-star Tera Raid Battles from Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET through Sunday, January 5, 2025. at 3:59 PM PT / 6:59 PM ET.
To celebrate this special event, themed mass outbreaks featuring Pokémon with black shiny forms will appear together. Ahead of Shiny Rayquaza’s debut, the three-part Tera Raid Battle series will feature Pokémon that can help trainers prepare to battle this legendary Pokémon.
