When you reach Adventurer Rank 20 you will be unlocked Genshin Impact‘S Battle Pass. The Battle Pass uses a separate leveling system that requires you to complete simple daily and weekly quests.
Our Genshin Impact The Battle Pass Guide explains how the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass works and whether it’s worth purchasing.
This is how the Genshin Impact Battle Pass works
For each completed quest you will receive a set amount of Battle Pass XP and 1,000 BP XP is required to level up. For example, the quests require you to fight the Trounce Domain bosses three times or log in and complete your daily four assignments. Most active players increase their Battle Pass level by simply playing normally, but you can only earn 10,000 BP EXP per week. The pass reaches its maximum at 50 levels.
Battle Passes typically last for around six weeks before being updated with the release of a patch.
Sojourner’s Battle Pass (Free) vs. Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass (Paid)
There are two versions of the Battle Pass. The Sojourner’s Battle Pass is free and offers rewards such as Mora, Adventurer’s Experience, Mystical Enchantment Ores, or Sanctifying Anointing (materials that grant EXP to artifacts), depending on which material you choose. Every 10 levels of the Sojourner’s Battle Pass you will be rewarded with an Acquaint Fate.
The Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass costs $9.99 and offers additional Mora, Hero’s Wit, mystical enchantment ores or sanctifying essence in addition to the items from the Sojourner’s Battle Pass. It also gives you one Sanctifying Elixir This allows you to craft custom artifacts, as well as materials to improve talents (skills). At level 30 there is also a bounty box for you to choose from a four-star weapon from an exclusive set. You will be rewarded with every 10 levels of the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass Intertwined fates.
For $19.99 you can buy this Gnostic choir. This is the same as the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass, but instead of starting at level 1 of the Battle Pass, you start at level 10. (If you purchase it after leveling up your Sojourner’s Battle Pass, you will add Simply add 10 levels to your existing level.) It also includes a special Business card style
What’s notable is that the Battle Pass grants Fates every 10 levels for fulfilling Gacha wishes. The free Battle Pass rewards Make fates known and Gnostic Hymn rewards Intertwined fates.
Upgrading your Battle Pass to the Gnostic Hymn is only worth it if you complete it. We recommend not purchasing the upgrade until you reach rank 50, as you will receive all rewards retroactively anyway.

- Wolf Fang (Sword)

We recommend looking for custom building instructions for your favorite characters Keqing network and see what they recommend. For example, if you’re a Kinich main, you might want to choose to build the Earthshaker, a craftable Natlan weapon, rather than picking out (or spending the $10 on) the Serpentback. However, if you are using Arataki Itto as your main protagonist and don’t have his special five-star weapon, the Snakeback is his second best choice, making it a worthwhile choice.
