Genshin Impact is an RPG gacha game that takes players into a massive open world. Although there are guided quests to complete, players can easily get lost as the game is a long maze of character upgrade systems, side quests, and other content. The game has been hugely popular since 2020 for good reason, and if you’re looking to start your journey to Teyvat, there’s one much to do.
Our Genshin Impact The Beginner’s Guide contains some tips that will help you successfully navigate the world of Teyvat. We use the knowledge we have acquired over the years we have played the game.
As you walk around, you’ll notice sparkly environmental items almost everywhere. Your inventory is limited to 10,000, so just grab everything you can. Flowers, food ingredients, and other items that might seem useless will later come in handy to craft various foods and power-ups for your characters.
Flowers and some other ascension materials only respawn after a certain number of real-world days, so you don’t want to end up in a situation where you have to wait in real time to level up your characters. You’ll be glad you don’t have to bother finding these items later.
If you want to delve deeper into exploration, keep track of what you’ve found
If you love solving puzzles, opening chests and snagging collectibles, then this is good news for you: Genshin is a great game for you. However, if that’s what you’re looking for Really
Take a minute to think about team building
There are several things you need to know when starting team building. For one, your team should typically consist of one character who focuses primarily on dealing damage, two characters who help support that damage in some form, and one character who supports your team with healing or shields. Different characters fit different roles, and while you can do whatever you want right from the start, more difficult content may end up overwhelming you if you haven’t put together a proper team.
The second thing you need to consider is theirs elementary resonance and reactions. Having more elements does not necessarily mean your team is better, as elements interact with each other differently and two elements of any element on your team provide a unique buff. Mixing Cryo (Ice) and Hydro (Water) freezes enemies, but mixing Cryo with Electro (Electricity) reduces the enemy’s physical damage resistance. There’s a lot here, so you can combine a lot of characters and create worthwhile effects.
Don’t forget to build your characters
As you progress through the story, you may forget to level up your characters, their weapons, and their artifacts (equipment). Additionally, characters have specific sets of weapons and artifacts that best suit them. So if you have access to it, you should do so use them. Don’t just slam whatever you picked up off the floor onto it without thinking about it!
However, it can be quite difficult to understand all of the game jargon in the gear descriptions. We therefore recommend using guides to help you sort through your character builds. Keqing network is our preferred construction site, maintained by people who analyze the numbers and take the time to recommend the best.
Your characters don’t have to be built 100% efficiently – there are plenty of free options to equip your characters with, so don’t worry too much about it.
Co-op is your friend, especially early on
The domains you have to fight through to get artifacts and upgrade materials can be difficult at the start, especially if you haven’t built those characters yet – and you have to clear those to build the characters, so it will a bit difficult bizarre ouroboros of a problem. Don’t be afraid to hit the co-op button, which will pair you with other players who can help you get through these domains with ease.
Prioritize completion of time-limited events
Unlike its sibling games Honkai: Star Rail And Zenless Zone Zeroonce a Genshin Impact The event ends, it is gone. Even though it was a flagship event with a lot of backstory in the cutscenes – it’s gone and there’s no way to replay it. However, the limited-time rewards from these events are usually pretty good. Some events also offer the best weapons for characters in addition to the usual handful of Primogems and upgrade materials, so they’re worth doing. Some events even give free four-star characters to help you complete your squad. So you should definitely take part in these events before they are gone forever.
Plan your gacha pulling responsibly
If you’re staring at that shiny new character in the gacha “Wish” banner with shiny eyes and nothing but a few thousand Primogems in your pocket, prepare for the worst. It will take time maximum180 Wishes (28,800 Primogems) to bring home a five-star character or weapon, guaranteed. While you might get lucky and win your coin tosses to get the right prize and win it early, you should always be prepared for the “what if” you don’t get what you want.
We recommend that you save your Primos for the characters or weapons you need Really want. While we can’t tell you whether you should spend money on this game to get what you want, we would like to remind you that this is gambling and things can snowball very quickly. if you’re not careful.
