Need for Speed Unbound gets on the motorcycle in Vol. 9: Lockdown
Electronic Arts and Criterion Games present Need for Speed Unbound Vol. 9: Lockdown, the latest in a series of live service updates expanding the Need for Speed experience.
Vol. 9, coming November 26th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, introduces a mode with extraction-based PvPvE multiplayer gameplay inspired by Need for Speed Most Wanted. For the first time in Need for Speed, racers can ride a motorcycle in the new Lockdown experience, the 2019 BMW S 1000 RR.
Lockdown offers a new twist on Unbound’s street racing action, creating crews of up to three players to compete against rival teams. The racers must fulfill contracts, break into restricted areas, traverse the treacherous lockdown zone and secure the extraction truck.
If successful, players will be rewarded with some of the hardest-to-acquire vehicles in the game, including the custom BMW M3 GTR ’05 owned by the infamous Most Wanted character Razor, and 14 other iconic cars from the Most Wanted blacklist are inspired.
