A city builder with co-op and heroes? Welcome to the chaotic world of Overthrown

Builder, Chaotic, City, CoOp, Heroes, overthrown, World

Hello Xbox fans! We are happy to announce that our new game, FallenComing to Xbox Game Preview on December 10th on Xbox Series X|S and PC and available with Game Pass. For those of you who may be seeing our game for the first time: Fallen is a city building game with more than just a twist – our game is all about chaos, and to add something unusual into the mix, we allow you to play as an anime character with superhero abilities and with up to 5 friends. However, you still have to build a city, defend it from mutants and bandits, and manage it. Today I'm sharing some insights to maximize your co-op experience.

Now, just to set the scene, a little background. Thanks to an ancient soul-stealing crown that has magical abilities, you have the power to lift whatever lies before you. Big trees – no problem. Monster nests – even easier. Raise an entire sawmill building so that instead of feeding individual trees, you can just walk through the forest and vacuum up trees as you go? Why not? Your strength knows no limits! You also have supersonic speed, a throw made for the history books, and a spin attack so fast you'll fly into the sky like a helicopter. Now imagine having all this power with up to five of your friends. Can you already see what shenanigans you can have?

To give you a little head start, here are a few tips on how to get the most out of your co-op sessions.

One crown to rule them all

When you play in co-op with friends, the crown will appear on the map for everyone to grab. Therefore, you should reach them first. Everyone will have the powers of the Crown except the person carry The Crown receives the largest Crown reserve charge and can perform cool moves faster. You all work together, but it's always best to be the one preferably when working together, right? There might be a moment during your gaming session where the Almighty Crown is stolen or lost, which could be the perfect moment for a bit of friendly competition. The crown can be picked up by an enemy such as a Tuskar or an outlaw, and you and your friends must reclaim it. Whoever regains the crown will now get the extra boost. There is no PvP FallenSo don't even think about killing your friend for the crown.

Teamwork makes the dream come true

Secondly, the more jobs you build in your city, the more citizens appear in your settlement. When playing with your friends, you can have different people work in different zones and districts, allowing you to gain more citizens a little quicker right from the start. And don't forget that not everyone loves all jobs equally. Maybe you love building, but your friend loves fighting – that's no problem! It is easy to divide the tasks among each other.

experiment

And the last tip I have is to get out there and experiment. When we started working Fallen It was inspired and built primarily by the curiosity of players. When we play our game, we want players to ask themselves and their friends, “Can I do this?” and “What will happen if I do that?” to which the answer is, “Yes, you can” and ” Please try it!” We are making the game as interactive as possible so you can experience moments of surprise, playfulness and just plain silly, silly fun! This makes playing with friends fun!
