It's been almost a month since Arc System Works started the fourth season of Gulty Gear Strive with the release of Queen Dizzy. Now, the Japanese developer has updated its game again. Since, finally, it has added the long-awaited 3 Vs.3 mode. Additionally, ArcSys has taken the opportunity to make some adjustments to errors that users reported since the arrival of the update that started the fourth season.

Training Mode

  • Burst Meter Auto Recovery, 1P Burst Meter, and 2P Burst Meter options have been added to the Psychic Burst Settings in the Training Mode menu, allowing you to fine-tune the meter level. The previous Psychic Blast option has been removed. Others

Battle Mode Changes of Guilty Gear Strive version 1.4

  • Updated Battle Version from Ver. 4.00 to Ver. 4.01. This mainly consists of fixes for issues confirmed after the previous update.

  • All characters, including Potemkin and Nagoriyuki, can now perform an air jump during the follow-up sequence after the Charged Dust Attack homing jump. This change is in line with the TEAM OF 3 mechanic, and is not something that is intended to upset the balance of battle.

Ky:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the cooldown of repeated use of projectiles to be shorter than intended for Stunning Blade, Aerial Stunning Blade, and Ky-Charged Stunning Blade under certain conditions.

Chipp:

  • Fixed an issue where the game would temporarily become unresponsive after using Chipp's Tightrope Race when winning a round.
  • Fixed an issue where Chipp's Banki Messai would sometimes not connect all hits while Dizzy's Ice Field was active.

Potemkin:

  • Fixed an issue with character display order when Roman Potemkin is canceled at certain times.

Fausto:

  • Fixed an issue where the Faust model would not behave as intended when attacked in the air.
  • Fixed an issue where Wall Breaker would sometimes not activate when the afro blast hit an opponent stuck to the wall.

Ramlethal:

  • Fixed an issue where the explosion would trigger Guard Smash when the opponent's sword was not blocked by Ramlethal's Bajonet attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where Ramlethal's Bajonet sword and explosion attacks would continue to activate even when Ramlethal took damage.
  • Fixed an issue where swords would gain a collision slot under certain conditions during Calvados of Ramlethal.

Leo:

  • Fixed an issue where Leo could not cancel normal moves into certain special moves while in the Brynhildr Stance.
  • Fixed an issue where inputting a special move would receive priority even when the Overdrive input was successful, when performing an Overdrive after a normal move in Leo's Brynhildr Stance at certain times.

Goldlewis:

  • Fixed an issue where the camera would sometimes have issues when Wall Breaker was activated with Goldlewis' Skyfish under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible for the opponent to perform Psychic Burst during the sequence, which would cause the game to stop responding to actions when Goldlewis' Skyfish Wall Break was activated under certain conditions.

Baiken:

  • Fixed an issue where Baiken's Kenjyu would sometimes increase the number of hits.

Bedman:

  • Fixed an issue where the attack would hit at a higher position than intended if performed at a certain altitude, when bug 6E was triggered in the air for Bedman's call 4B9?

Dizzy:

  • Fixed an issue where Wall Breaker would sometimes not activate when Dizzy's end-of-Frozen attack hit an opponent stuck to the wall.

Problems present in update 1.4 Guilty Gear Strive that will be solved in the future

  • During Ramlethal's S/HS attacks, under certain conditions the sword sometimes faces in the opposite direction.
  • Sometimes Jack-O's Servant Shot can be board canceled even when he doesn't come into contact with a servant.
  • After activating Dizzy's Ice Field, if you move at a certain time, the movement will be extremely fast.
  • Under certain conditions, activating the wall staff will restore the attacking player's burst meter.
  • Under certain conditions, damage information in Training Mode will be displayed incorrectly.
  • Incorrect text in the command list of Asuka's bitshift metron description.
  • When hitting Fausto's Afro with Hole in One!, under certain conditions the collision will disappear, making him invisible.
  • By hitting Faust's mini-faust with Hole in One! Under certain conditions, it will not bounce off the corner of the stage.
  • When using Goldlewis' Behemoth Typhoon, pressing HS twice at a given time will sometimes cancel into Behemoth Typhoon, even if only half a circle is entered.
