This is the new Plex app

In the debate over which streaming platform is best, many users have chosen to create their own; Plex is one of the best alternatives that does just that, and has evolved into a more comprehensive Netflix alternative. Today, Plex faces its biggest change since its inception, starting with a brand new mobile app.

It's the part of Plex that has gained the most popularity over the past year, and the company says the change is coming because more people are using the feature. Likewise, the areas dedicated to our profile, viewing history, friends and streaming services have also been reorganized, transforming Plex into something more similar to a social network for movie buffs.

The new Flex application will only reach a few users first in a previous version, before being broadcast worldwide; Likewise, the Plex app for TVs will also be updated with all these changes in the near future.
