STALKER 2's modding gold rush is always a sight to behold, and with plenty to fix and tweak, it certainly doesn't disappoint. The community spent the initial period after launch trying to stop the stuttering, and now they're starting to tweak The Zone's hard life and mess with time itself at will.
In case you missed it, while players were busy diving into GSC Game World's creations for the first time, modders were busy starting to release their own fixes for some launch issues, and the onslaught from them didn't look like It will slow down soon.

The Stalker modding community now wants to make tweaking the gameplay experience its unofficial main goal – specifically giving people the option to tweak some of the more difficult elements of life in The Zone to their liking.
Mods like Grokitach0's “Grok's Less Bulky Vampires and Poltergeists” and FESilencer's “Lower Mutant Health” have become available to those who specifically have a less difficult time battling the horrors of ghame focus on. SnNakeEe also tries to brutally rebalance the way healing items work, if you want to go the other way and have a really, really miserable time.
In the meantime, if your enemies are you and you can't keep your guns in good condition, “Vaxis' Sensible Weapon Downgrade” might be worth a look, while FESilencer's other mod “Unlimited Equipment Upgrades” looks more like this A cheeky way to give yourself an extra edge when it comes to gear.
For those who want an all-in-one mod that does a lot of rebalancing in different areas, “Grok's Balanced Difficulty” looks like it might be worth checking out, especially if you're a veteran of the game.
Then there are three – well, two plus one, already declared obsolete just two days after the game's release – different mods that offer the chance to extend your time in the Zone. “Longer days (no longer updated)” and “Even longer days” and “Jack’s longer days.” Yes, the word “longer” sounds weird to me now too.
