Black Friday week is in full swing at mail order company Amazon. During the sales campaign, one deal follows the next. A highlight is the Fire TV Stick HD. The brand new streaming stick has been reduced in price by a full 44 percent and is in the Bestseller list “Amazon devices & accessories” is currently in first place (as of November 24th, 9:08 a.m.) and is overtaking the Echo Dot.
Amazon recently removed popular Fire TV Sticks from its range and launched an alternative, the Fire TV Stick HD. The streaming stick replaces the Fire TV Stick Lite. The hardware of both devices is the same, but the HD version offers a wider range of functions.

Unlike the Lite model, you can also control your television and your smart home directly with the Fire TV Stick HD. Alexa voice control is also integrated into the remote control. The only downside: Dolby Digital playback is not supported. However, if you have speakers that support the sound format, this does not affect you.
