The second story DLC for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was actually supposed to be released today. But as Ubisoft announced at short notice, the date has been pushed back a bit.
November 26th was previously the release date alongside Secrets of the Spiers, the second story DLC for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Nothing will come of this because Ubisoft postponed the date at short notice due to a “critical last-minute problem”.
At least you don't have to wait too long, because the new date is November 28th, just a postponement of two days.
A statement said: “We know many of you can't wait for this new adventure in the Western Frontier, and we apologize for this delay. Our priority is to provide all of our players with a high quality, entertaining and memorable experience We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to bring it to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.”
What exactly the problem is is not described in more detail, but it could well be related to the fact that the current Windows update 24H2 is causing massive problems with some of the publisher's games and a solution is still being worked on. Star Wars Outlaws was also affected by this, just at the release of its story DLC Wild Card. It is therefore more than likely that Ubisoft wants to have the problem ironed out quickly before Avatar also causes a crash orgy on your PCs.
It is still unclear whether the Windows update itself is the cause of the problems or whether Ubisoft is responsible for the problems. Maybe we'll find out more when the mess is sorted out. Microsoft even completely stopped delivering the 24H2 update to computers on which one of the affected Ubisoft games was installed.
