Many fans feel that Arcana season 2, especially its final act, felt rather rushed, and showrunner Christian Linke has offered his thoughts on those complaints.
Look, Arcane is a really good show, but if you don't think the story got a little scattered in its second (and final) season, I think you'd be kidding yourself. There's so much plot going on that it really needed at least an extra season to build. Now, in an interview with GamesRadar, showrunner Christian Linke has addressed fan complaints about the pacing. “When people watched season one, there was an aspect of pacing…season two is a little different in that aspect,” Link said.

“I respect people expressing this [opinion]. You're right – the vast majority of the audience seemed happy. But others said: “It was too hasty.” What happened? '” As GamesRadar points out, a big part of the appeal of the first season for many fans was the relationships between the individual characters and the way they developed throughout the season, but in this season, a lot of that is, Link admits, The team “is definitely approaching the episode structure for Season 2 a little differently because as creatives we want to take those bets. [and] Take these swings.
“For most people, it seemed to work well. Some people specifically wanted to see a continuation of Season 1 in this regard, but were disappointed. I'm not happy they felt that way, but I respect them.” Also One problem is that more characters from specific League of Legends universes don't even make it in, so while some complain that they have too much going on, Link also recognizes that some people want more.
“Some people say it's too rushed and there's too much going on. There's another side. I'm like, 'Where's Camille? She's part of Piltover. Where's Blitzcrank? Where's Twitch? Why don't you put Are they included? 'On the one hand, there are people who say it's too much, and on the other hand, there are people who say we don't do enough, but we try our best… It's hard for us to include the right amount of stories.”
As mentioned, I do think Arcane needs at least one more season, but when you see the cost of two seasons, you'll understand why it doesn't. Also, it sounds like Riot has a lot more work to do in terms of multimedia, so I guess they need to address this in any way possible.
