After launching in December 2021, “Die Discounter” immediately became an absolute cult hit on Amazon Prime Video. The 4th season of the German comedy series with the first 6 episodes started on the streaming provider on November 27th, 2024.

A 5th season of “The Discounters” has been released so far not officially confirmed and at this point it will probably be a long time coming. Because after the release of the remaining 4 episodes of season 4 on December 23, 2024 The “Discounter” crew should first take a break.

So the future of the comedy series on Prime Video after December 2024 remains rather uncertain for the time being.
