In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) got hold of the shield of his former best friend Steve Rogers. Now he must grow into his role as the first (but now actually no longer the first) Avenger and face the dangers that lie ahead.
Apparently that doesn't seem so easy. The established industry insider Daniel Richtman is now reporting that Captain America: Brave New World also negative in the third test screening should have reached the audience.
The third attempt and further filming
Brave New World – then known as New World Order – had already failed to satisfy test audiences twice before. Richtman suspects that major revisions are currently pending. Actor Anthony Mackie was recently spotted doing a reshoot in Los Angeles.
Re-shooting is absolutely common for films and doesn't really give us any reason to panic – if it weren't for the release date.

Many fans are rightly worried in the comments. Because the release on February 12, 2025 is getting closer and closer. However, some suspect that this is just the filming of a post-credit scene and not further reshoots of entire scenes.
Could Captain America: Brave New World be postponed?
Let's make it short: The fact that Marvel is moving the film to a later date so shortly before its release is is rather unlikely. Marketing is already underway three months before the film's release and the cinemas are also making plans for the film.
Rather, the new project could on average need to be fundamentally revised again. Some scenes are deleted and others are added from obscurity. The impact of such a revision should not be underestimated.
As film experts among you know, editing is one of the most important aspects of production. It can even change the focus of the entire story.
A prominent example of this is Star Wars: Episode 4 – A New Hope. The new editing shortly before the theatrical release gave the work a new direction and probably saved not only the first film, but also the entire franchise (via The Country).

What is Captain America: Brave New World about?
The film takes place after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) is the new Captain America and takes over the legacy of the first Avengers. A great danger is also looming in the form of the President of the United States, because Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) has a dark secret – or should we say: a red one?
