The ongoing legal battle between Nintendo and the Pokemon Company team and Palworld developer Pocketpair may be heating up, but development of new content for Palworld isn't slowing down. Now, the company has announced a surprise collaboration with Terraria in 2025.

The reveal was released via the game's social channels, which features the original promotional artwork you can see above. Details on the nature of this collaboration/crossover have yet to be revealed, as the focus is elsewhere at the moment, but needless to say, we're very interested.

In addition to the crossover announcement (which may or may not translate into updates for both games), an entirely new island filled with new creatures and challenges will be added to Palworld in December, which the developers are calling “the biggest, toughest , the most dangerous island.” “The most mysterious”. For those deep into the game, the new continent is about six times the size of Sakurajima. The official post also includes screenshots. Check it out below:

While the hype for Palworld is certainly not as high as it was earlier this year, Pocketpair's survival crafting game that happens to feature Pokemon-like creatures and some familiar mechanics earned an “overwhelmingly positive” rating on Steam and continues to do so every day There are thousands of players, not counting everyone playing the game on Xbox and most recently PS5.

If Terraria receives Palworld-themed content in 2025, it would mark another massive update for the Re-Logic game, after the developer repeatedly said they would be abandoning the fantastic 2D crafting classic that launched in 2011.

In other Palworld news, fans were recently upset that the game was ignored by The Game Awards, with the game's CM chiming in to say the community should calm down. Earlier today, we also learned about a shameless Tencent-backed pirated Horizon game called Light of Motiram, leading some to consider Palworld's complicated relationship with Pokemon as an “inspiration” (lightweight say).
