In RavenswatchPlay as heroes inspired by ancient folk tales and legends, from Little Red Riding Hood to Sun Wukong. In each game session, you embody these charismatic heroes and reveal their stories, round after round. You explore open maps inspired by enchanted forests, Arabian Nights and the Arthurian legend, full of activities and dark enemies. And help the inhabitants of the world of Reverie you encounter along the way! The Three Little Pigs need extra hands to build their homes, while Sinbad the Sailor finds himself in a difficult situation and may need to be rescued. Complete their quests to receive valuable rewards that will help you in future battles.

Meet the Ravenswatch
In RavenswatchPlayers take on the role of fallen heroes from timeless stories and legends, reinterpreted with a dark and devilish twist. Take Scarlet, our cursed version of Little Red Riding Hood, who transforms into a big bad wolf at night to hunt the nightmares; or the Pied Piper, a musical tactician who commands swarms of rats in battle. From Beowulf wielding his mighty sword alongside his baby wyrm to Mélusine unleashing devastating jets of magical water, each hero offers a unique way to confront the nightmares that threaten Reverie!
At the start of your experience, you can choose between Scarlet, The Pied Piper, Beowulf and Snow Queen. But there are a total of nine playable characters available! Unlock them during your adventures and learn more about the rest of the team. Some secrets are best revealed in the heat of battle!
Who is suitable for Ravenswatch?
When choosing a new hero, we have to be careful and choose a character that fits in with the rest of the cast. Heroes are the cornerstone of game design and the most important part of the core game.
Our approach requires each playable character to be unique in their playstyle, appearance and personality. For this reason, we have set the requirements that we must meet before we consider adding a new hero to the game Ravenswatch. Here are our four pillars:
Gameplay oriented: First and foremost, the goal with each of our heroes is to create a unique feeling when playing. Whether ranged, melee, or an atypical play style, no two heroes play the same. When new characters are added to the cast, they always need to bring something new and fresh to the table.
Worldwide fame: We'd like to add heroes inspired by stories and legends from around the world, but one of our commandments is that they must be famous on a global scale. From our perspective, players will be more excited by a well-known character than an unknown one. Furthermore, we have to make it believable that they exist in the same universe. That's why we tend to avoid stories that are too old or too modern and feature advanced technology.
Exciting background story: The essence of what the stories tell is a wonderful source of inspiration for character and gameplay design. We often use pivotal moments in a story (e.g. Grandma being eaten by a wolf) or a specific object (e.g. Aladdin's ghost lamp) as a starting point for creating a new story Ravenswatch Hero. The twisting of the original story is what makes the rediscovery of a character so exciting.
Family photo: We love seeing the cast posing next to each other, and there's no better feeling than seeing the “family photo” of your creation at the end. A diverse, diverse and diverse group of heroes is a priority!
