Just a few minutes ago we received a survey that revealed Nintendo as one of the companies where Japanese graduates most wanted to work thanks to better Nintendo Switch games in these years of the console's life. Well, in that same report, an interesting fact about the company is shared.
In the report, we can also see that Nintendo stands out for its commitment to diversity. Has implemented a couple system that allows employees with same-sex partners to be recognized as if they were married. This reflects an “inclusive approach and its effort to create an equitable and respectful work environment for all.”
“Of course, Nintendo's extensive profits play a role in this,” shares an anonymous CEO from Japan speaking on the topic. “They have a high paid vacation utilization rate, offer strong support to parents, and have a unique points system for employees that can be used for games, books, trips, and more. They also have a deep understanding of diversity and have introduced a partnership system that allows employees with same-sex partners to be treated as if they were married, among other progressive and practical initiatives“.
