With the sub-brand CMF, Nothing has now also released the Phone 1 for smaller budgets. The exciting LED strips – also called Glyph – that we know from the Nothing Phones are missing here. What's interesting about the design of the Phone 1 is the screw cap on the bottom right corner. Here you can either mount a credit card wallet, a practical stand or a security strap. If you quickly get bored of the design, you can easily replace the back with just a few screws and choose a different color.

In terms of performance, the Phone 1 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor. A RAM booster can virtually expand the 8 gigabytes of RAM to up to 16 gigabytes. In our test, it delivered good performance and was able to run graphics-intensive games without any problems. The 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 120 Hertz is also ideal for gaming.
The 5,000 milliamp hour battery provides up to a day and a half of battery life, depending on usage. Thanks to innovative battery management technology, intelligent charging profiles extend the life of the battery. On the back, Nothing uses a high-quality 50-megapixel main camera from Sony, as can also be found in many more expensive smartphones. A 16-megapixel front camera is available for selfies.
