genDESIGN Game joins Epic Games with a new project from the creator of Shadows of the Colossus
Epic Games Publishing has launched a new project with genDESIGN Game, from the legendary Fumito Uedaand during the Game Awards they presented a small trailer of the creative's first game which will arrive on Xbox. Giant robots appear to be the core of the game, which has similar features to the creator's other titles.
No name has been established for the title, although it is now known as Project Robot. In the trailer, we could see a character climbing some sort of giant robot and a countdown to the impact of a huge “wave” about to collide with them. The character takes off with the robot's head and the video ends there.
The creator of legendary titles like ICO, The Last Guardian or Shadows of the Colossus, has put his ingenuity here and imbued this project with his personal stamp. We don't know much about this video game, but it will come to Xbox, which is a celebration for its users.
There's also no known release date, not even a window, but it will come to Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
