Sea of Thieves is leaving the exclusive waters and yes, we will spice up this whole message with seafaring jargon. As the Share developer on Twitter, the pirate sandbox will set sail towards Steam soon still without a specific release date.
Steam privateers, however, do not remain among themselves, but hoist the skull flag together with the crew of the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions, where the pirate game anchored in March 2018.
Steam players are looking forward to it
But even without a launch date, players can now find Sea of Thieves on Steam and add them to their wish list – and that's exactly what more and more users are doing: According to the current wish list charts, Sea of Thieves already ranks 26th a few days after the announcement worldwide wishlists.
The game is in line only just behind the highly anticipated blockbusters like Marvel's Avengers and before Iron Harvest and Torchlight 3. Apparently, many Steam Corsairs are still waiting for their opportunity to search for treasures and blow enemy ships off the nautical chart.
What is it about again?
If you've never heard of landlubbers from Sea of Thieves, here is the short version: You explore (preferably in co-operation with friends) an open-world ocean full of islands, hidden riches and monsters like the dreaded octopus with your own ship.
