Saints Row: The Third: Update: Now officially announced

That was fast. Only a few hours after the ESRB rating appeared, Saints Row: The Third Remastered was officially announced. Accordingly, the revised version of the action title will be released on May 22, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The processing will be done by Sperasoft, who have renovated over 4,000 assets. Every weapon has been redesigned, every vehicle has been redesigned and the entire city has been re-textured. In addition, all three major expansion packages and more than 30 of the individual DLC have been revised.

An entry has now appeared on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) that gives hope for a remastered version of Saints Row: The Third. According to the entry, the title comes for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Of course, an appointment does not yet appear in the list. An official announcement by THQ Nordic is still pending, but should only be a matter of time, unless it is a mistake.

The original of the crazy action game was released in 2011 for the previous generation of consoles along with a PC. In 2019, a rather neglected switch implementation appeared. A remastered version would fit well in time after the last title in the series was a long time ago (2013). Last year there were reports that a new part of the series was in the making and a remastered version could refresh the memory.
