As many of us no doubt are familiar with, Stalk Market is a very big – and good – plan to get rich quick; however, there are some novel ways in New Horizons to make this opportunity even more useful for your financial gain.

What's new about the Stalk market?
Throughout the Animal Crossing entries, players can participate in buying and selling turnips to make a profit. In previous games, Joan was a boxer with a basket eager to share her turnips – for a price. However, the role has now been honored for her granddaughter, Daisy Mae.
You can find candy (and reluctant) Daisy Mae wandering around your island from 5am to 12pm each Sunday, selling her 10 bundles of merchandise – at unlimited prices, if you have the money. Prices may vary from 90 Bell to 110 Bell Turnip each (we suggest that when purchased it is priced below 100).
As always, players have the first Monday until the following Sunday to unlock their load – at which point, turnips are rotten, along with your investment. Of course, time travel will also spoil your lot, so don't go out and make a late-life crime.
Turnips can be sold on Monday-Saturday at the island store for anywhere from 15 to 800 Bells (but usually in the 50-200 range). There will be two different rates per day, with changes occurring in the afternoon. Prices will change throughout the week, often in different patterns – so be careful.
Of course, experienced veterans will be well aware that turnips are taking up space – and they cannot be stored in storage. Turnip Exchange
For those who do not want to take financial risks – and are not afraid to travel around the world with their greed – there is a simple and easy way to get the highest return on this relatively inexpensive market.
Created by Warp World, i Turnip Exchange it allows users to easily or effectively convert turnips – or other objects – to various islands around the world. It allows users to find islands where daily prices can be high (commercially) or low (buy) and guide the travel process for everyone.
In addition to allowing you to find islands where Timmy & Tommy can buy your turnips at the highest prices that day, you can:
- Search for variable rates live on all user islands by:
- Watching the islands page, showing 12 newly created islands
- Visit Discord Server and check out the # live-to-switch conversion channel
- Search Twitter for the hashtag #turnipcode, where users will post their prices and Turnip codes
- Exchange other items like furniture, fruit, clothing – you name it! The rules are up to the island's owner – who can list them online – and they work on the honor system with guests.
- Capture others from around the world on your island. Using "Turnip Codes", the Exchange version of the Dodo Code, users can visit your island's line page online, and will be updated when it is their turn to receive your Island's Doodle Code.
How do I visit the islands of others on the Exchange?
The steps to go online and visit other people's islands are as follows:
- Find the island you wish to visit on the Islands page, Discord server or with the hashtag on Twitter (see above)
- Almost on the island's landing page – or using their Turnip code on the first page of Exchange (if you already know) – select "Join"
- You will be asked for your game name, which will be added to the queue – make sure you stay on that page, or you'll lose your place in the queue
- When it's your turn, you'll be given a Dodo Code to enter your airport, which will allow you to travel to the island
How do I manage my island on Exchange?
If you are a brave, generous person and would like to host your island on the Turnip Exchange, you can do this:
- To create a current Dodo Code at your airport (make sure you select "play online", invite "plus", and keep your gates open with this code so it doesn't expire)
- Visiting the Keeper page and access to your Dodo Code
- Enter the requested information about your island, including: fruit type, current turnip price, hemisphere, and current date and time
- You can also include a short description – this space is used to make requests or set up rules for guests on your island
- From here, you will be asked to provide a "Travel Limit" and a "Queue Limit", and you can decide whether you wish to keep your island private, or you would like it to be searched on Exchange.
- After completing this information, you will be provided with the Turnip Code – from here, you can wait for others to discover your island and join the queue (if you choose to keep it publicly), or share your Turnip Code with others – including the Discord server, and – #turnipcode on Twitter

Also, this modification applies to the honor system – and as a result, there are certain rules that they request that all users follow:
- When you're on the line up and waiting, be sure to check the number of people in front of you, and plan to be ready to enter the Dodo code within a minute of receiving it.
- Once you leave the island, stay in line and only click "Leave a row" after leaving the island. Alternatively, the next person in line will receive the Dodo Code before and that could cause delays.
- Make sure you follow the rules made by your host if there are any definitions.
We've had reports of users buying and selling millions of Bell turns – so if you're hungry for money like Tom Nook, it's definitely worth a shot. Who knows – besides making money and collecting goods, you might meet up with a new friend or two via the Tonip Exchange. Happy sales!
