He may be best known as the voice of Mario (and Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi, you remember) but Charles Martinet has starred in various video games over the years in a variety of genres.
One such game Shades of Remembrance (or The shadow of the End, as it is known in North America), a Konami game originally released on the PS2 back in 2001. He played the role of Homunculus, the mysterious djinn who evokes the game's promoter in all of his chapters and foreword.
Martinet also posted a clip of the game on social media this morning, thinking it was released 19 years ago. See:
We couldn't rely on that character to the best of our ability to cast her, so we can say that the voice acting does its job well. It's a far cry from the touching scenes shared between the Mario brothers in Luigi's House 3, that's for sure.
