After the cancellation of the physical event of E3 2020, now we get news on the digital plane. Apparently, those responsible for the meeting do not plan to hold an official digital event as such.
This has been confirmed by THAT to PC Gamer:
Given the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be hosting an E3 2020 event online in June. Instead, we will work with exhibitors to promote and display individual company announcements, including on www.E3expo.com, in the coming months. We look forward to bringing our industry and community together in 2021 to present a reimagined E3 that will highlight new offerings and excite our audience.
Remember that IGN confirmed a digital event for June known as Summer of Gaming, which will be attended by 2K, Square Enix, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Devolver Digital, THQ Nordic and more. Individual announcements from these and other companies are expected in that month.
We will be attentive to more details.
