Cyberpunk 2077 is not going to be delayed anymore, or so they say from CD Projekt. After all, the developer has moved all the production of the game to their homes due to the COVID-19, so that safely all the developers work to put the finishing touches on the long-awaited game by the creators of The Witcher. The fact is that the current delays of long-awaited titles like The Last of Us Part II have made fans wonder if it is possible that all the games that we have ahead in the coming months will be delayed their release date.
The doubts are more than unfounded, since the fact of working from home can make the rhythm deviate from what is expected, for this it is necessary to have a great teleworking system that mitigates as much as possible the fact of not sharing a same office for these tasks.
In the summary of the fiscal year (which also serves as a presentation of what is to come), CD Projekt RED has ensured that Cyberpunk 2077 is not going to be delayed anymore and that it will come out on the date set, September 17.
“Since mid-March we have been working from home, while ensuring the continuity of all our operations. Our goals have not changed; first, we plan to launch Cyberpunk 2077 in September«, says Adam Kiciński, CEO of the company, in the financial report presented today by CD Projekt. “We are motivated and have the necessary tools at our disposal to achieve this goal. We also believe that our long-term strategy of avoiding debt and accumulating cash reserves it makes us well prepared to face any difficulties that may arise in these difficult times«.
We can only hope that, indeed, there are no more delays and that Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on the desired date.
