Last week, news broke out of bullying on Pokémon Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch, which allows players to skip competitions before their opponent wins. This also stops players from losing or scoring.
It looks like the Pokémon Company has now confirmed this and has decided take out is a stern warning for players who defy the bug – explaining how "it will not hesitate" to temporarily block or completely disconnect certain people from playing online.
We can assure you that a large number of players have been disconnected from the Internet to use their winning / losing records of online championships and theaters.
From now on, if we determine that players have harassed this bug for their benefit in online and tournament battles, we will not hesitate to temporarily block or even completely prevent players from engaging in online play in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
In the short term, this exploit became a "known flaw" within the competitive arena of Pokémon on social media. One video showing how to cross a match has been viewed more than 50,000 times when the bug started making headlines.
So, for anyone out there who has done this – if you don't stop now, prepare to tackle Pokémon's justice system.
