The PowerPlay system is currently a unique contender to the room of the games peripheral devices with which you can use a variety of Logitech mice from Logitech without ever charging them. With a small puck that is thrown into the underside of the mouse, the device draws wirelessly from the mouse pad. The loading puck packed with the PowerPlay 2 is currently compatible with 10 different models from Logitech -Gaming mice and adds very little weight. Aesthetically, the new PowerPlay mouse pad is not terrible of its predecessor, but somewhat smaller than the original, whereby a surface 344 x 284 mm measures instead of 321 x 344. It is also slimmer and is only 1.3 mm from your desk. However, the loading area of the PowerPlay 2 is 15% larger than the original and is based on a USB-C compound instead of the micro USB found on the original.
Since 2022 Logitech G502 x plus paired I used with the original Powerplay Mouse pad and didn't even have to charge it. Although the PowerPlay 2 appears a modest improvement in the original, I'm happy to see Razer's short-lived hyperflux mouse From 2018.
