If you are looking forward to launching Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, there is one thing you should keep in mind. Even if you play the game comfortably on the Sony console, you still need a Microsoft account to jump in and do some gliding.
This information comes from the official Forza Horizon 5 FAQ posted on the Forza support page over the weekend. In it, the requirements for Microsoft account are clearly laid out and you will be prompted to link it to the first TME you launched the game.

Also, once you link your Microsoft account to the PlayStation version of Forza Horizon 5, it will be permanently linked! This means that if you choose to unlink an account, you can only relink the same Microsoft account in the future. So keep this in mind when starting the game for the first time!
This is not the first time such a request has been made. In fact, the vast majority of large Microsoft-owned properties that jump to the PS5 take the same steps. The thief and Minecraft are famous examples, and everyone needs a linked Microsoft account. So it seems like this is a newly discovered open-ended infringement of the company, bringing its games to other platforms, which seems to be a permanent requirement.
Don't let this prevent you from checking out a truly great racing game on PlayStation, though. As far as racers are concerned, this is probably one of the better people we have seen in recent years. Wait, what do you mean to appear in 2021? Oh, God.
