Sea of stars is the next project of the creators of the Messenger, of which we have been commenting a few weeks ago on the delivery and the resources that are being put into this title. And it seems that fans are also looking forward to his arrival.
This has been demonstrated your project on Kickstarter, than reached its funding target on the first day of publication of your campaign. But this was not all, since nine days after the possibility of supporting this project is closed, Sea of Stars has reached the last goal it had proposed… before it was revealed!
As you know, sometimes they are putting various levels of financing to get extras or additional elements to the project itself. This time, Sea of Stars did it without detailing what that last goal was. Finally, we have been able to know that It is a DLC called "Throes of The Watchmaker", a side adventure planned from the beginning that will now be included free of charge for all who sponsored the project.
Now, and in gratitude, its managers have expressed the following:
Our vision of goals was always clear: we would not overcommit, we would not inflate our game, and we would not cause delays because of them. However, one thing we wanted to do as soon as the game launched was to start working on a parallel adventure called "Throes of The Watchmaker", which required several months of development and would further expand the world of Sea of Stars and would provide additional insight into the narrative that spans all of our games. To show how grateful we are to everyone who has supported the project, we announce that our ultimate goal is for this download to be free for all who have promised to receive a copy of the game. Since it will be best enjoyed without spoilers, that's all we'll say about it for now. Oh, and by the way, as we are making this announcement, the DLC goal has already been reached, so we congratulate our sponsors on the free bonus content! We humbly thank you once again for your support. Showing your idea to the world always comes with its fair share of vulnerability and apprehension, but we couldn't feel more blessed with the welcome they've given us.
What do you think? Will you get Sea of Stars?
