Bruce Willis plays Doraemon in a weird Japanese ad

Bruce Willis as Doraemon
Anime is part of Japan's cultural heritage. So it is not unusual to find commercials starring characters from Dragon Ball, Shin Chan or any other you can imagine. AND they can sell you whatever. From cookies to Toshiba refrigerators, for which Vegeta and Bulma were the image. Sure, a lot of crazy ideas can come out when you mix these ingredients, but it can still get more complicated. More absurd is to see Bruce Willis, actor of Armageddon or The Fifth Element, play Doraemon, the most popular cosmic cat among children.

Softbank, one of the leading mobile phone operators in Japan, has signed actor Bruce Willis for the strangest role of his career. Play Doraemon to announce the release of 5G, but don't think he's put on a huge character costume. Instead, he appears in a blue sweatshirt and has certain details that easily identify him with Doraemon as the neck rattlesnake or the gorrocópter. Surely fans of the series have recognized him right away because it was one of his most widely used inventions. It is even more surreal when Willis crosses the roof of his clients, but he realizes that he has made a mistake at home and goes the same way he has come.

It is the last place where we expected to find the good Bruce, don't you think? More artistic were the japanese noodle ads that turned the protagonists of One Piece into high school students. If you had to choose an anime character for a commercial, who would it be?
