The corona crisis has the world under control and does not stop at shifting top titles in the games sector. Most recently, The Last of Us: Part II had to be postponed indefinitely. Is such a fate also happening to Cyberpunk 2077? CD Projekt RED has now commented on this and the DLC plans.

In a conversation with investors, the Polish developer CD Projekt RED spoke in detail about the upcoming top hit Cyberpunk 2077. With regard to the corona pandemic, the studio fortunately emphasized that no further postponement of the game was planned. The title should have been available these days, but it was postponed to September 17, 2020. At this date – Corona or not – it will now remain according to the wishes of CD Projekt RED.

According to the makers, this also speaks for the fact that the rating agencies have already been able to assign age ratings worldwide. Corresponding submissions have recently been staged.

Another topic is likely to be of great interest in this context: President Adam Kicinski also reaffirmed plans to publish large DLC packages for Cyberpunk 2077 in an investor discussion. The studio plans a similar scope as was the case with The Witcher 3 – and there the two additional content was known to be extremely extensive.

The DLC plans are also to be communicated in detail before the release in September.
