A few days ago Netflix announced that it would allow us to block certain profiles with pin code to protect the smallest house from accessing the profile and then exceed the content restrictions on your child's profile.
How to use a PIN on our profile
The steps to protect your profile are the following:
- We open it Safari and we go to netflix.com
- We log in using a username and password.
- We enter our profile.
- We tap our avatar on the top right and select Account.
- Next to the title Profile and parental controls we touch the arrow to the right of the profile we want to block.
- We touch Change next to Lock profile.
- We enter the password for our account.
- We're working PIN required to access profile [name].
- Introducing the pin.
- We're working Request [Name] PIN to add new profiles if we want this to be the requested pin before creating new profiles.
- We're pressing Save.
Now when we select a profile for the query Netflix will ask us to enter the newly configured pin. This request is happening on all devices when using Netflix.
And it's easy. When we want to block another user of our account from accessing our profile, we'll know that with these simple steps we can take.
