There are more details about the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT. The Video Cardz portal again confirms that it is the navigation system 44 XT CHIP, which is equipped with 2,048 shader units.
The memory configuration is also considered fixed: As with the competition in the form of the RTX 5060 Ti, AMD presents you with the choice between 8 and 16 GB vram; However, the Radeon GPU runs on GDDR6 with 20 GBPs. With a 128-bit connection, this is followed by a range of 320 GB/s-exactly half of the RX 9070.
- However, the clock rates that Video Cardz wants to experience are new. The basic clock should amount to 2,620 MHz and, at least in this context, the RX 7600 XT outdo it as a nominal predecessor with its 2,470 MHz.
- The boost cycle also receives one … well, Boost: 3,230 MHz is said to be the clocks given by AMD to the RX 9060 XT. We have updated the comparison table below.
- Some OC variants that have not been named should come to 3,300 MHz and more. However, Video Cardz did not name which custom GPUs it is.
In contrast to the RX 9070 (XT), the new AMD GPU also has to live with a restriction due to the smaller chip: the RX 9060 XT leads three instead of four display connections. The configuration is likely to amount to an HDMI 2.1b and two DisplayPort 2.1.
Original article from April 10, 2025: After several weeks in which we are rushed from one graphics card to the next, some rest has returned to the GPU market since the beginning of March. The last releases amount to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (TI) and AMD Radeon RX 9070 (XT), which faces each other in their price range.
In the next month it will probably go into the next round of this competition, just one floor lower: While the RTX 5060 Ti is to see the light of day in a few days, more information about the RX 9060 XT is now visiting.
The securitized details come from the custom manufacturer Gigabyte, who has registered its models for the RX 9060 XT with the South Korean certification authority RRA. How Videocardz reports, this indicates an upcoming launch of the AMD graphics card.
However, Gigabyte only lists two different models for the RDNA-4-GPU:
- GV-R9060XTGAMING OC-16GD
- GV-R9060XTGAMING OC-8GD
These are likely to refer to the “Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC”. Similar to the Nvidia counter in the form of the RTX 5060 Ti, AMD will also throw its GPU onto the market in two memory configurations – 8 and 16 GB.
Gigabyte drives up larger guns to the RTX 5060 Ti
In contrast to Nvidia, the model selection for the RX 9060 XT is sparsely occupied by Gigabyte. The Custom models for the RTX 5060 Ti were also found in the same registration. Here there are eight of the number:

Especially with the AMD GPU, there is still no leakage of reliable leaker, which is why you should enjoy the comparison with caution. After all, the publication period is gradually limited, because the Video Cardz report also speaks of a possible announcement before Computex 2025.
The annual trade fair in Taiwan will take place from May 20 to May 23. However, AMD usually uses the computex more for CPU ideas, so that the above-mentioned appointment seems to us to be unrealistic.
